Michael O’Shaughnessy is an experienced Australian human resources and workplace relations professional with deep expertise in employment law, industrial relations, and workforce management. He is known for his practical, solution-focused approach to helping organisations manage complex workplace issues and implement compliant, effective people strategies.<br /> Michael began his career at the Victorian Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI), advising businesses across a range of industries on employment law, awards, and dispute resolution. He later held senior HR and workplace relations roles with Coles and McDonald’s Australia, gaining extensive experience managing large, complex workforces. His career also included international roles with McDonald’s in the United States and Japan, providing valuable global HR experience.<br /> Following his corporate career, Michael co-founded HR Central, where he works with Australian businesses of all sizes to manage compliance, resolve disputes, and strengthen people management practices.

Abhishek Kumar is an experienced employment lawyer, having studied law and spent years guiding organisations through complex HR and workplace issues; he is known for a practical, solutions-focused approach and a genuine enjoyment of challenging matters. Ally Pearson has been working in business operations and in-house human resources for over 15 years. Beginning a business degree at the University of Sydney, Ally quickly found a greater passion for operational processes deferring and completing training throughout her working career. She spent the greater part of her career specialising in engineering and trades HR and administrative support before moving into mining as a HR Business Partner completing a post-graduate Human Resources Management degree at RMIT. Ally now works with HR Central and ERS as an Audit Analyst conducting payroll audits and Award compliance. With her in-house HR experience, Ally brings a strong skillset and passion for performance management, investigations and public relations.

Careta Marmarinos is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience across hospitality, engineering, IT, disability services, and both not-for-profit and commercial sectors. She has experience leading all HR functions, including performance management, strategic HR, recruitment and building HR frameworks and systems from the ground up. With a strong background in risk management, quality systems, and ISO accreditation management, she is also an experienced lead auditor. Currently completing postgraduate studies in Human Resources Management with outstanding results, Careta excels at transforming challenges into structure, clarity, and measurable outcomes.
