The Servo Pro Helpdesk – what it is and how it can help your Business

HR Central now offers Servo Pro members the option to call a dedicated advisory help desk for assistance with anything HR related..  It has been created as an additional support service to ensure that any member minimises any of the risk factors to their business that can occur penalties, fines, loss of income, damage to reputation and lowered productivity. If a Servo Pro member is facing a HR issue, they can call the Servo Pro Helpdesk on 1300 089 915 and speak directly to a HR Specialist from HR Central. The HR Specialist will ask a series of questions relating to the issue, starting with the member’s identification, so that a file can be created for that member. The HR Specialist will listen to what the member is calling about and endeavour to provide a solution during the discussion. In some instances, a guideline or template will be sent to the member to further assist with a specific situation or to have as a reference for the future. See the table below. At this point, there is no charge for the phone call, or advice/guidelines given by the HR Specialist.

It is important to acknowledge that the Servo Pro Helpdesk service is advisory in nature only. As HR is rarely the same in two different situations, there may be occasions that the HR Specialist will need to set an appointment with the member to gain more detailed information and to work thoroughly on the issue at hand. If this is the case, this will be explained in full to the member by the HR Specialist they are talking to.

Should your situation require further or ongoing assistance:

Our HR Specialists will compile and send a written proposal to the member, with information regarding processes going forward. This way the member can decide whether they would like to go ahead. There is no obligation.

The proposal will outline any fee for the service based on the solution specified.

Payment will be billed directly to the member. No invoice will be issued until both the member and HR Central have signed off on the proposal.

How does the Helpdesk work?

1. The Servo Pro Helpdesk has a dedicated number: 1300 089 915

2. This number will be made available to all members and they can call this number directly.

3. Servo Pro staff can transfer a caller to the HR Help Desk.

4. HR Central’s HR Specialists will answer and log calls, confirming the member details to ensure comprehensive reporting back to the ServoPro.

5. Additionally, HR Central will monitor the member portal for HR queries and respond in written form. Certain online discussions may be referred to the 1300 number where required.

As a new business owner, I have found that having the support and services of an HR company not only comforting but essential. There are many procedures and policies that need to handled correctly for both the employer and also the employee and without expert assistance I doubt whether I would have covered all bases which could leave my business vulnerable.
