Introducing our new HR Specialist – Leisa Rennie!
Leisa joined the HR Central team in April 2016 as part of the acquisition of People Dynamics. Leisa is a very knowledge HR Specialist. She particularly enjoys using pychometric testing as a tool to support her recruitment and talent management services to clients.
Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Leisa completed a Bachelor of Communication Studies majoring in Creative Industries at AUT University in Auckland. It was shortly after this that she made the move across to Australia in 2012. Since moving to Melbourne, Leisa decided to cement her interest in Human Resource Management and completed her Graduate Certificate in HR at Swinburne University in January 2014.
Leisa is accredited in two psychometric profiling tools, the McQuaig and Saville Wave. She considers these tools highly beneficial and key support to the HR services that HR Central provide. Leisa enjoys problem solving for her clients and works tirelessly to get the results they are after.
Leisa understands and can solve the different day to day HR issues that can arise in a businesses. She is empathetic, and has a quirky, fun nature that keeps the office laughs going.
In true Melbournian spirit, Leisa has developed a love for footy, following the Geelong Cats. She also enjoys watching the rugby, following Melbourne Storm. However, she can’t help but support the All Blacks when they play the Wallabies!
She has a love for animals and in particular cats – especially her newest family member, Peanut.
Psychometric tests are used to measure an individual’s mental capabilities and behavioural style. Psychometric testing is designed to assess a candidate’s suitability for a role based on the required personality characteristics and aptitude (or cognitive abilities).
